7x NBA All-Star Gives Massive Praise to Nikola Jokic
USA TODAY Sports

LaMarcus Aldridge may have never won an NBA Championship, but he's arguably one of the most skilled big men ever. A 7x NBA All-Star, Aldridge is no slouch when it comes to having moves in the most. Still, even he can't help but marvel at Nikola Jokic.

On an episode of the All the Smoke podcast, Aldridge not only claimed Nikola Jokic as the best player in the NBA but also marveled at his natural skill.

"I got to say, Jokic because he just won," Aldrige said about the best player in the world. "I mean, he didn't win MVP but we all know... Everybody watch social media, the man didn't shoot a basketball all summer bro. And he came back and he like dominating? Like come on. Like we in the gym all summer are just like getting our sh*t ready. This dude didn't touch a basketball. Does it show that he's that good, or is the NBA that different? I don't know."

The thing that impresses Aldridge most about Jokic is the fact that the Serbian big man didn't seem to practice at all during the offseason, but picked up exactly where he left off. It's a type of natural skill that very few NBA players have.

"Bro we watched him, he raced horses this summer," Aldrige said. "And was dancing, and was traveling, and partying. He came back and they won like their first what 10 games or some sh*t?"

Nikola Jokic has the unique opportunity to be one of the best NBA players ever, and the best big man ever. It's rare to see a once-in-a-generation talent appear, but that's exactly what he is.
