NC State led 37-24 at halftime, and Burns Jr. had four points, five assists and three rebounds.
Burns Jr. is one reason the 11th-seeded Wolfpack (24-12) is on a Cinderella run. In the NCAA Tournament, he's averaged 20 points per game and shot an astounding 69.6 percent from the field.
"I go against him every day in practice," NC State junior forward Ben Middlebrooks said via The Athletic. "I feel the pain those guys feel when they go against him on the other team. When he gets going, there's no one in the country who can stop him."
